Destiny

So shocked to see all the discrimination against different cultures and religions… & to think that everyone is actually welcoming you with an open heart, in a foreign country. I wish to see a day when people can see each other individually. Instead of judging them by their race, ethnicity, or religion, they take the time to get to know them first.

Destiny is no matter of chance. It is a matter of choice: It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.

CRTC & Bell

On Jan. 25, CRTC ruled in favor of allowing bell to introduce UBB (which they had already done before) with complete control of their services. This means that anyone, including smaller ISPs who rely on Bell’s lines, are now subject to match Bell’s plans. Not only that, but these smaller ISP’s are now forced to charge their customers for over usage of bandwidth at an expensive price of $1.90 per GB! As if a 25GB bandwidth cap wasn’t enough.

Help stop Bell and CRTC by signing a petition! http://www.stopthemeter.ca OR http://www.openmedia.ca/meter.

Take action by joining the rallies organized by several members of the community! Search for ‘Stop the Meter’ Rally on facebook.

There are several actions that can be taken!!

Fight the power! And help protect Canadian’s rights to be able to use the internet freely, or at least with reasonable restrictions!(25GB/month is NOT reasonable!)
